The Fourth of July has come and gone, but the stream of Instagram photos leaking out of Michael Rubin’s annual White Party is — fortunately for us — never-ending. Each year, the billionaire Fanatics CEO and former co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers throws a blowout soirée in the Hamptons with an invite list buzzy enough to make Anna Wintour shiver. This year, however, the Kardashian-loved event got even more exclusive, per the New York Times: The guest list, curated in part by Rubin’s fiancée, model Camille Fishel, shrunk to 400 of the most paparazzi-friendly celebrities, athletes, and influencers, with 300 of the VIPs receiving custom lithograph invites designed by visual artist George Condo. A casual affair in a multimillion-dollar mansion, if you will. Let’s get into it, shall we?
Who was at Michael Rubin’s White Party?
Among this year’s A-list attendees were Tom Brady, Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, Drake, Camila Cabello, Quavo, Emily Ratajkowski, Leonardo DiCaprio, and others. Draped in white gowns and bodycon dresses, guests mingled about the two-acre, 8,000-square-foot Water Mill mansion and were serenaded by Shaboozey, Mary J. Blige, and Lil Wayne. After fireworks reportedly shot off from an ocean barge, GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, Machine Gun Kelly, A$AP Ferg, Alesso, and Travis Scott continued the evening’s surprise musical performances from a tennis court transformed into a nightclub. “Imagine walking into Liv Miami,” Fishel told the Times in an interview.
Drake didn’t have to listen to Kendrick Lamar.
If you’ve left the house this summer, you know that Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track “Not Like Us” is everywhere (even the kids are singing it). Everywhere except Rubin’s party, that is. TMZ reports that the DJs skipped the song of the summer along with all other Lamar songs. Quavo, Lil Wayne, and Scott — who are all reportedly on good terms with Drake — were at the party, and Rubin posted a photo of himself with the rapper to Instagram. Good to know Drake had a Lamar-free night.
Tobey Maguire, 49, was spotted leaving with Lily Chee, 20.
The 49-year-old Spider-Man actor sparked dating rumors after getting photographed with his arm around 20-year-old model and actress Lily Chee. “Page Six” reports that the pair were seen leaving the party together with Maguire’s hand resting on Chee’s lower back. (Maguire was previously married to jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer for nine years before the two divorced in 2016; they share two daughters, 17-year-old Ruby and 15-year-old Otis.) On Monday, Meyer seemingly came to her ex’s defense, saying he’s not dating Chee and was just “being a good guy.” In response to an Instagram comment accusing Maguire of “banging someone three years older than your daughter,” the jewelry designer said Maguire was “kindly helping a friend to her car,” per People. She added that for his good deed, Maguire has been “blasted online for dating someone he is not.”
Did Alix Earle run into Xandra Pohl at the white party?
We don’t know, but both influencers attended the festivities, so it’s possible they ran into each other somewhere along the beachfront mansion. Earle and Pohl attended the University of Miami together and rose to prominence on TikTok in 2022, frequently appearing in each other’s photos and posts and even calling themselves best friends. Despite running in the same circles, the two haven’t been photographed together since 2023, spurring rumors of a friendship breakup. The two didn’t appear in each other’s Instagram photos from this year’s White Party, either, so make of that what you will.
Who wasn’t invited at Micheal Rubin’s party?
According to representatives for Ruben and Fishel, some who didn’t score invites tried to pay their way into the party, with several offering $1 million for an RSVP and at least one person offering $5 million. Sadly for said millionaires, even a hefty cash bribe can’t get you in the door.
Other celebs were transparent about not receiving a George Condo golden ticket: “I’ve never been, I wasn’t invited,” Bethenny Frankel said in a TikTok video about the party, which she likened to a “summer fronting and stunting Met Gala.” The TV personality also claimed Dave Portnoy wasn’t on the guest list and called Rubin a “try-hard” for the Condo art invitations. “If he’s trying hard, it seems like he’s succeeding,” Frankel said. “He’s a billionaire.”
Guests got personalized Air Jordan 1s as party favors.
Those effortlessly wealthy and charmed enough to make their way inside munched on Nobu’s fatty tuna, Lucali’s margherita pizza, and meatballs from the East Harlem restaurant Rao’s, and per the Times, each guest took home a pair of personalized Air Jordan 1 Low colorway sneakers, an exclusive collaboration between Nike and Scott. Good for them, and best of luck to all the dry cleaners forced to scrub out celebrity self-tanner from the surviving White Party garments!
