Move over, Paris. Venice is now the city of love. The city’s film festival has become the summer hot spot for googly-eyed lovers looking to make a big impression. First, Justin Theroux debuted his engagement to Nicole Brydon Bloom at the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice premiere. Now we have Olivia Rodrigo attending the festival as Louis Partridge’s plus-one. What’s next? Lady Gaga getting married on a water taxi as she arrives for Joker: Folie à Deux?
Time will tell, but for now, let’s focus on Rodrigo and Partridge. He’s there as one of the stars of Alfonso Cuarón’s new Apple TV+ show, Disclaimer. She’s there as his girlfriend. Cute! These two were first spotted smooching at a gas station in New York at the end of last year, and he’s since been spotted at several shows on her Guts World Tour. She even added a song about him to the set list mid-tour. However, their Venice Film Festival date marks the couple’s official public debut.

In between that, of course, they watched Disclaimer on the big screen. Rodrigo was just like any other proud girlfriend, filming her man as he got a big ovation from the crowd.
