It must be a very interesting place to visit, especially since it was the scene of so much terror. It’s hard to imagine now, seeing that beauty, what a horrific time that must have been.

The Eagle’s Nest was closed when we went but we took a boat tour of gorgeous lake Konigsee which we really recommend.
