Viki, I have to say that everything about this experience was amazing. The women, the early morning, the roses, the process. We did love it.

Roses are my favourite smell and they look so pretty with their paddles!

It was a fun day. We were muddy and tired, but breakfast was fun and delicious and we still had the whole day ahead of us. It was great.

Juliette, The roses smelled nice, I’m not sure I did. It’s a lot of hard work.

I never knew you could do something like this. Bet you smelt nice for the rest of the day! Must have been hard work though.

I can’t imagine getting up at 5am every day to do the picking and then going off to another job. I bet it was fun for a day though. The fields are totally beautiful. Looking forward to the next post to find out what happens to the petals!

Sandy, They are absolutely gorgeous, especially first thing in the morning when they first open. Very hard work.

Their soft pink colour is really pretty. The hard work that went into harvesting it must have been quite a lot. Loved reading about it.

Brianna, That was the best part, spending the day with locals in the mud. Nothing better!
