It’s an exciting first day of classes at New York University: A crisp fall breeze is sweeping through New York, students and faculty are back to protesting, and Barron Trump is wandering around campus with a backpack and trendy sneakers. After months of speculation, Donald Trump’s youngest offspring was seen sandwiched between Secret Service agents on NYU’s campus on Wednesday, and Trump confirmed his son is enrolled in the Stern School of Business for the fall semester.
Until now, it was unclear where Barron, who graduated from his West Palm Beach, Florida, high school in the spring, was heading for college. The Daily Beast reported in April he was planning to attend NYU, and his father revealed in August he’d be going to college somewhere in New York, so this doesn’t come as a total surprise. While Trump also suggested Barron had changed his plans due to pro-Palestine protests, on Wednesday morning, the 18-year-old was seen leaving Trump Tower in a white polo, black pants, 2024’s hottest sneakers (Adidas Gazelles), and a techy-looking backpack. According to the New York Post, he checked in at the dean’s office before heading to his first class. Sending my sincere best wishes to his professors.
